FranNet announced the retirement of CEO Jania Bailey, closing a two-decade leadership chapter that helped shape the company into one of the franchise consulting industry’s most recognized organizations. The Louisville, Kentucky-based franchise consulting firm said President Amanda Duplantis will lead the company’s next phase of growth alongside Chairman of the Board Jack Armstrong.

During Bailey’s 20-year tenure, FranNet earned placement on the Inc. 500 twice and the Inc. 5000 list four times. She also helped position the company as an industry innovator by leading FranNet to become the first organization to publish a Brokers Disclosure Document, according to a recent press release, establishing a new benchmark for transparency within franchise consulting.

“I have enjoyed my 20 years with FranNet and am incredibly proud of what we’ve built,” Bailey said. “The strength of this organization has always been its people.”

Duplantis will oversee daily operations while driving FranNet’s long-term strategic priorities, including operational modernization, sustainable growth, and stronger engagement across the company’s consultant network. She said the focus will remain on creating a more scalable and connected organization that delivers stronger opportunities for consultants and clients alike.

Armstrong, a longtime FranNet franchisee with more than 30 years of experience in the system, will support the transition and continue advising the organization as chairman.

FranNet connects aspiring business owners with franchise opportunities through a network of consultants across the United States and Canada.
