WellBiz Brands has appointed John Thuringer as Vice President of Franchise Growth, adding an experienced franchise development executive to support expansion across its beauty, health and wellness portfolio.

Thuringer brings 17 years of experience from Purpose Brands, where he helped drive franchise development for Anytime Fitness and Waxing the City. During his tenure, he sold more than 800 new licenses, including more than 250 over the past three years. His performance also earned him FranNet’s No. 1 award in two of the last three years.

In his new role, Thuringer will focus on attracting new franchisees, advancing development opportunities and expanding WellBiz Brands’ footprint.

“John brings vast franchise development experience and a proven understanding of what it takes to grow brands at scale,” said Amanda Clark, CEO of WellBiz Brands.

Based in Denver, WellBiz Brands is the global franchisor behind five beauty and wellness concepts: Amazing Lash Studio, Drybar, Elements Massage, Fitness Together and Radiant Waxing. The company supports its franchise network with digital marketing, operational technology, supply chain management, e-commerce and product innovation.

Thuringer’s appointment positions the company to build on its franchise development momentum while connecting more entrepreneurs with its growing portfolio of concepts.
