Pillar To Post, North America’s leading home inspection franchise, has announced the promotion of franchise development veteran Brenda Gemmell to the role of Director of Consultant and Coach Success. With nearly 20 years in the franchising space and over 360 placements under her belt; including more than 160 with Pillar To Post Gemmell is a powerhouse addition to the executive team’s mission to drive strategic growth through the brand’s Executive Model.

A Leader Who Understands Franchising from the Ground Up

Gemmell’s professional path is marked by a deep understanding of both corporate operations and entrepreneurial ownership. Before joining Pillar To Post, she spent 13 years at global tech giant Intel, managing business operations across 27 countries. Her shift into franchising came as both a multi-unit owner and a development executive, eventually helping scale a brand later acquired by Neighborly. Gemmell also made her mark as a top-producing franchise broker, matching business owners with brands across sectors including quick-service restaurants, fitness, and home healthcare.

“I’m thrilled to continue my journey through franchising with Pillar To Post in this new role,” said Gemmell. “It’s always been my personal passion to help business owners find their calling and live their lives as not just successful business owners, but successful staples in their local community through franchising. Pillar To Post offers one of the best franchise opportunities out there and I’m excited to continue growing the network across the nation.”

Now entering her ninth year with the brand, Gemmell has earned the trust of franchise candidates by focusing on long-term success and fit. In her new position, she will oversee the work of franchise consultants and brokers to align top-tier candidates with Pillar To Post’s unique Executive Model.

Driving Growth Through Scalable Ownership

Unlike many home service franchises, Pillar To Post’s Executive Model offers business ownership that’s designed for scalability—not hands-on labor. Franchisees build and manage teams of inspectors rather than conduct inspections themselves, allowing for greater operational efficiency and long-term growth potential.

“Brenda’s strength is in building relationships and creating strong connections with people while being a champion of our strong Executive Model,” said Eric Steward, Senior Director of Franchise Recruitment at Pillar To Post. “She brings deep brand knowledge, genuine care for our candidates, and a proven track record of results. We’re beyond thrilled to have her leading recruitment partnerships.”

As the demand for home services continues to rise nationwide, Pillar To Post stands out with a lower-cost, high-reward model tailored for executives, career changers, and those seeking meaningful, community-based businesses. With Gemmell now leading consultant and coach success, the brand is poised to expand its reach while maintaining the personal, people-first approach it’s known for.
