HOTWORX is bringing its franchise network together for a nationwide fundraising initiative aimed at helping military women facing breast cancer. The company’s annual Workouts for Heroes campaign, which runs from October 1st through November 30th, will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Military Women’s Patient Relief Fund.

The campaign combines limited-edition merchandise, charitable dedication cards and studio raffles to give members several ways to participate. With more than 900 studios worldwide, according to the company, HOTWORX is using its growing franchise network to connect local fitness communities with a national charitable initiative.

Turning Studio Participation Into Financial Support

HOTWORX has organized this year’s campaign around three fundraising activities that members can support through participating studios.

The first involves a collection of limited-edition pink fitness accessories, including yoga towels, yoga mats and mat holders. HOTWORX corporate will contribute $1 for every pink yoga towel and yoga mat sold, along with 14 cents for each pink yoga mat slap band purchased.

Members can also participate through the “Honor a Warrior” initiative, which allows individuals to make a $5 donation and dedicate a card to a veteran or breast cancer survivor. Participating studios will also organize raffles, with each dollar donated providing one entry. Donations associated with the dedication cards and raffles will be collected through the campaign’s official Givebutter fundraising page.

The activities give franchise owners opportunities to involve their local members while participating in a coordinated charitable effort across the broader HOTWORX system.

Building on More Than $110,000 in Previous Fundraising

The 2026 campaign follows a year in which HOTWORX members, franchisees and corporate employees collectively raised $63,253.42 to support veterans and military women battling breast cancer. According to the company, its Workouts for Heroes and breast cancer awareness initiatives have generated more than $110,000 since 2024.

Stephen P. Smith, founder and CEO of HOTWORX, said the program has become an established part of the company’s identity.

The initiative also demonstrates how a franchise system can coordinate charitable activities across independently operated locations. HOTWORX provides members with around-the-clock access to virtually instructed infrared sauna workouts, including 30-minute isometric sessions and 15-minute high-intensity interval training. Its membership-based model gives studios an established community through which they can promote recurring fundraising efforts.

Helping Military Women Manage the Costs of Breast Cancer Treatment

Funds raised through Workouts for Heroes will support patients facing financial challenges associated with breast cancer treatment. While medical care remains central to recovery, everyday expenses such as childcare, transportation, housing, and groceries can create additional financial pressure for patients and their families.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Military Patient Relief Fund provides eligible active-duty service members and veterans with one-time financial assistance of up to $1,000. The program helps individuals facing financial hardship address expenses that might otherwise interfere with their ability to receive care.

There’s still time to make a difference. The 2026 Workouts for Heroes campaign runs through November 30th, giving HOTWORX members and participating franchise locations an opportunity to contribute to the cause.

More information about the campaign is available at HOTWORX and through its official fundraising page.
