There’s something unmistakably American about the slow burn of Tabasco sauce. Whether it’s a dash on eggs, a drizzle over gumbo, or a spicy splash in a Bloody Mary, the iconic red-capped bottle has earned its spot in kitchens coast to coast. But in Louisiana, Tabasco isn’t just a condiment; it’s a cultural treasure.

Now, the beloved brand is turning up the heat this spring through a fiery partnership with another Bayou-born favorite: Off The Hook Restaurants. The quick-casual seafood chain has launched its first-ever Shrimp Season, and it’s a full-on celebration of local Gulf shrimp, bold Cajun flavor, and you guessed it, Tabasco’s signature heat.

A Hot Collaboration Rooted in Louisiana Pride

Running now through June 2nd, Off The Hook is offering a limited-time menu featuring wild-caught Louisiana shrimp smothered in a sweet-and-spicy Tabasco-brand Pepper Jelly Sauce. It’s a flavor fusion that delivers Southern hospitality with a spicy kick.

“We’re proud to work with another beloved Louisiana brand to bring something truly unique to our guests,” said Paxton Moreaux, CEO of Off The Hook Restaurants. “Partnering with Tabasco allows us to highlight the kind of flavor our guests love — bold, balanced and rooted in the Bayou. These limited-time items have all the makings of a local favorite.”

The collaboration features two standout dishes:

  • Pepper Jelly Hook Salad – A fresh medley of romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bacon, shredded cheese, and local shrimp tossed in Tabasco’s pepper jelly sauce, topped with a zesty blackened ranch.
  • Pepper Jelly Shrimp Wrap – A handheld burst of flavor, wrapping lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, chipotle sauce, and gulf shrimp glazed in the Tabasco-brand pepper jelly sauce in a soft tortilla.

The partnership is more than just a menu update. It’s a celebration of Louisiana’s rich culinary culture. With shrimp sourced directly from the state’s fisheries and Tabasco hailing from Avery Island, just down the road from Off The Hook’s roots, the collaboration is steeped in local pride.

National Shrimp Day Gets the Tabasco Treatment

Mark your calendars for May 10th, when Off The Hook will celebrate National Shrimp Day in true Cajun style. Fans can snag $5.99 shrimp platters all day, making it the perfect excuse to indulge in some of the best flavors the South has to offer.

Since its founding in 2012, Off The Hook has built its reputation on family recipes, fast service, and an unwavering commitment to authentic Cajun flavors. Its mission to serve up bold tastes with quick-casual ease continues to resonate, especially as it teams up with one of America’s most iconic hot sauce brands.
