Zoom Room has appointed Jackie Mendes as Senior Vice President of Franchise Development, adding a seasoned franchise sales leader as the indoor dog training brand builds momentum for its next phase of growth.

Announced April 8th, 2025, the move brings more than 25 years of fitness and wellness franchise experience to the Los Angeles-based company. Mendes has held franchise sales and business development roles with F45 Training, World Gym International, Perspire Sauna Studio and RealRyder Indoor Cycling International. She also brings an operator’s perspective as a Perspire Sauna Studio franchisee in Texas.

In her new role, Mendes will focus on attracting business-minded franchise partners to support Zoom Room’s national expansion. The brand has carved out a distinct niche in franchising as an indoor dog training gym centered on socialization, enrichment and community, giving dog owners a place to train and connect. That positioning, paired with a lower-cost, labor-light model and proprietary training methods, has helped fuel continued franchise interest.

“Zoom Room stands alone as the only indoor dog training gym in the U.S. built around socialization and community,” said Mendes. “I am excited to help grow and scale a brand that is so valuable to dogs and their owners.”

CEO Mark Van Wye said Mendes’ franchise expertise and community-focused mindset will help strengthen the company’s development pipeline as Zoom Room works toward 550 locations by 2030.
