In a heartwarming show of corporate compassion, Round Room, LLC, the parent company behind Verizon Authorized Retailers TCC and Wireless Zone is stepping up to save lives, four paws at a time. The company’s fourth annual Rescues Rock initiative is officially underway, and it’s more than just a marketing campaign; it’s a movement.

On May 17th, participating TCC and Wireless Zone stores across the country will transform into adoption hubs, uniting communities with local animal rescue groups to help pets find their forever homes. As a major highlight, one lucky rescue organization will receive a $10,000 grant to support immediate medical needs. The winner will be revealed live on social media during the adoption events.

“At Round Room, we believe that businesses should be a force for good in their communities,” said Scott Moorehead, CEO of Round Room. “Rescues Rock is one of the many ways we put that into action by supporting local animal shelters, encouraging adoption, and helping pets find the caring homes they deserve. It’s incredible to see the impact our stores, employees, and customers can make when we rally around a cause that brings so much joy and purpose to people and animals alike.”

Finalists with a Mission: From Herding Dogs to Horses

Three standout organizations have emerged as grant finalists, each offering a glimpse into the love and grit that define animal rescue:

  • Change a Life Dog Rescue in East Haddam, CT, is a foster-based, all-breed nonprofit that specializes in working and herding dogs. Their mission is to stop the heartbreaking reality that thousands of adoptable dogs are euthanized simply due to lack of resources. “We are their lifeline to a new life with a family that will love them,” the organization states with raw sincerity.
  • Hamilton County Humane Society in Fishers, IN, lives by the belief that every animal deserves every chance. This group is committed to the idea that rescue is not a one-time act. It’s a relentless pursuit of second, third, and fourth chances.
  • Moonlit Pines in Manhattan, IL, offers a unique approach to animal welfare by pairing equine and animal-assisted learning with rehabilitation, reaching both animals and people across the Chicagoland area.

Each finalist has already made a meaningful impact in their communities, and the $10,000 grant will help one of them do even more.

Beyond the Adoption: Tote Bags, Gift Cards, and a Bright Future

To sweeten the deal, Round Room has partnered with Pet Supplies Plus, offering adoption kits, coupons, and a chance to win a $250 gift card to new pet parents at the events. Tote bags filled with goodies and checklists will help families prepare to welcome their new companions home.

And this initiative is only just beginning. Round Room has made it their mission to help 20,000 pets get adopted in 2025, and Rescues Rock is a powerful step toward that goal. It’s also part of a broader quarterly campaign lineup that includes Teachers Rock, School Rocks, and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each a reflection of Round Room’s ethos of giving back.

With more than 1,200 stores in 43 states and over $8 million donated to community causes, Round Room is proving that when big business meets big heart, lives truly change… on both ends of the leash.
