Atlanta-based Edible Brands® has promoted Angela Johnson to Chief Marketing Officer, positioning the brand leader to oversee marketing and product innovation across its expanding portfolio, including Edible Arrangements® and Rōti® Modern Mediterranean.

Johnson, who reports directly to CEO Somia Farid Silber, brings nearly 25 years of experience spanning marketing, retail, strategy and innovation, with a strong track record in franchise-driven and consumer-facing businesses. Since joining Edible Brands in 2021 as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, she has helped shape the company’s growth trajectory through category expansion, new product development and consumer-focused innovation.

In her new role, Johnson will unify marketing and innovation efforts to drive brand relevance and retail execution while supporting locally owned franchise partners. She will lead from the company’s Atlanta headquarters as Edible Brands continues to expand its footprint across celebration, nourishment and wellness.

Prior to Edible Brands, Johnson served as Vice President of Marketing at Krystal Restaurants, LLC, where she modernized the customer experience through third-party delivery and online ordering launches. She also collaborated with operations and R&D to advance menu innovation, contributing to a double-digit comparable sales increase following specific launches.
