BrightStar Care has appointed Josh Wall as Chief Executive Officer, tapping an experienced growth leader to guide the home care franchise as it expands its national footprint.
Wall succeeds Andy Ray and brings more than two decades of experience supporting franchise owners, scaling brands, and building high-performing teams. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Unleashed Brands, where he oversaw franchise operations, development, franchisee support, and mergers and acquisitions across a portfolio of youth enrichment brands representing more than 1,500 locations nationwide.
Earlier, Wall spent 16 years with Christian Brothers Automotive, ultimately serving as a partner and chief development officer. During his tenure, the automotive franchise grew from 21 locations to more than 350.
At BrightStar Care, Wall will focus on franchisee growth, strategic healthcare partnerships, and technology investments designed to improve experiences for owners, caregivers, and clients.
The appointment comes amid continued expansion for the nurse-led home care, skilled care, and medical staffing franchise. BrightStar Care has signed more than 60 franchise agreements for new territories during the past 18 months, including 20 in 2026. The company operates more than 420 franchised locations nationwide and supports more than 180 national accounts.
