CertaPro Painters® Kicks Off Sixth Annual “Paint it Pink” Campaign to Support Breast Cancer Research

CertaPro Painters®, North America’s Most Referred Painting Company®, is once again putting its brushes to work for a great cause. For the sixth consecutive year, the company has launched its “Paint it Pink” campaign, partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in the U.S. and Breast Cancer Canada to raise funds for critical breast cancer research.

Since its inception in 2019, Paint it Pink has raised an impressive $555,000—translating to 11,000 hours of research for the BCRF. This year, CertaPro has set an ambitious goal of raising $160,000, aiming to fund approximately 3,200 hours of research or cover the costs of 64 patients enrolled in clinical trials.

Participating franchisees across North America will contribute a portion of every painting project completed between October 1 and November 30. In addition, both local businesses and corporate employees will join in the effort, organizing fundraising events in their communities to boost donations.

A Campaign Born from Personal Tragedy

The Paint it Pink campaign was inspired by the personal loss of a CertaPro franchisee whose wife succumbed to breast cancer. This heartfelt origin fuels CertaPro’s commitment to raising awareness and funds.

“As a company, we strongly believe in helping those in need, supporting our employees and franchisees, and serving the local communities where we live,” shared Mike Stone, president and CEO of CertaPro Painters. “Our Paint it Pink initiative is incredibly important to us as it gives us the opportunity to live our core values and allows us to help pay it forward by supporting BCRF’s mission of achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer.”

Nationwide Pink Power

This year, Paint it Pink is taking its awareness efforts to new heights—literally. A fun and eye-catching social media campaign will “paint” iconic North American landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Times Square, and the CN Tower pink. CertaPro encourages everyone to follow the campaign on social media @certapro for updates and fun pink transformations. We just saw the picture of the Pink Golden Gate Bridge on their social.

Beyond social media, franchisees will feature dedicated Paint it Pink pages on their local websites, providing important resources and ways to contribute. Many will also team up with nearby businesses to hold local events, such as pink-themed fundraisers, 5K runs, or family picnics, further cementing the campaign’s community-driven focus.

The CertaPro corporate team is also lacing up their shoes for the cause, participating in a step challenge where employees make donations to join. If their collective goal is reached, CertaPro will contribute up to an additional $4,500 toward breast cancer research.

How to Get Involved

CertaPro encourages everyone—whether a business, community member, or individual—to participate in Paint it Pink by making a donation. Every dollar brings the world closer to a future free from breast cancer.
