McDonald’s Corporation has appointed Skye Anderson as president of McDonald’s USA, placing a longtime company executive at the helm of its largest market.

Effective 4th August, Anderson will oversee nearly 14,000 restaurants nationwide, with a focus on restaurant operations, customer value, and long-term profitable growth. She succeeds Joe Erlinger, who is leaving McDonald’s after more than two decades with the company and nearly seven years leading its U.S. business. Erlinger will serve as an advisor until early 2027 to support the transition.

Anderson brings more than 26 years of experience across the McDonald’s system. Her career has included finance leadership in Australia, U.S. field and zone leadership, development of the company’s Global Business Services organization, and, most recently, serving as chief operating officer of McDonald’s USA.

Her track record includes four years leading the U.S. West Zone, where she helped modernize more than 5,700 restaurants, supported comparable sales growth of more than 30% and increased average restaurant unit cash flow by $100,000.

Anderson now takes the top U.S. role as McDonald’s advances McDonald’s > NEXT, its strategy focused on customer preference, growth, and productivity across the system.
