Code Ninjas has named Tyler Semerdjian as its new Chief Marketing Officer, a strategic move to accelerate systemwide growth across its global network of more than 350 centers. Semerdjian steps into the role with over 15 years of experience leading marketing for direct-to-consumer, marketplace, and private equity-backed businesses.
CEO Navin Gurnaney highlighted Semerdjian’s ability to translate high-level strategy into local impact, a key advantage for a franchise system built on community engagement. Semerdjian will oversee global marketing initiatives, with a focus on modernizing infrastructure, improving enrollment, and strengthening the brand’s positioning in STEM and AI education.
Most recently, Semerdjian served as CMO of a family entertainment platform generating more than $100 million in annual revenue, where he supported in driving a 274 percent increase in EBITDA. His experience aligns with Code Ninjas’ goal of building a more connected marketing ecosystem that improves lead generation, conversion, and retention.
Founded to teach kids coding through engaging, game-based learning, Code Ninjas has grown into the largest kids coding franchise worldwide. The brand continues to expand its offerings across robotics, coding camps, and STEM education, while targeting new franchise development in New England and the Southern U.S.
