LINE-X has promoted longtime executive Matt Labuda to President as the protective coatings and vehicle upfitting brand prepares for its next phase of franchise growth.

Labuda previously served four years as Vice President of Marketing for the Charlotte-based company, where he helped guide marketing strategy, franchise development, and commercial fleet expansion initiatives. In his new role, he will focus on expanding the brand’s footprint, strengthening franchisee support, and advancing innovation across the system.

“I’m honored to step into the role of President. For more than 30 years, this brand has earned the trust of customers through innovation and unmatched durability,” Labuda said. “As we move forward, my priority is accelerating LINE-X’s growth and strengthening our presence across every market we serve.”

Before joining LINE-X, Labuda held leadership roles with automotive services company Driven Brands and fitness franchise Burn Boot Camp. His experience spans franchising strategy, vendor partnerships, technology integration, and marketing development.

Founded more than three decades ago, LINE-X has built its reputation on protective coatings, truck bedliners, and vehicle upfitting solutions. The company operates a growing franchise network throughout the United States and Canada.

Looking ahead, the brand plans to open 17 new locations in 2026. Leadership also plans to introduce refreshed store designs, expanded digital tools, and additional operational guidance aimed at helping franchisees drive profitability and long-term growth.
