Houston TX Hot Chicken has added experienced franchise leader Andie Smirl as Director of Franchise Sales, a move that comes as the Las Vegas based brand passes 100 franchise units sold and accelerates its nationwide push. Founded in 2021 by Edmond Barseghian, the fast casual concept has grown from a local hot spot into a multi-state contender, with 29 locations across eight states and a devoted social media following.

Backed by a 2023 growth partnership with Savory Fund, Houston TX Hot Chicken continues to earn attention for both performance and brand energy, including Breakout Brand honors on the Franchise Times Top 400, a No. 217 spot on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list, and recognition as a Fast Casual Top 100 Mover & Shaker.

In her new role, Smirl will focus on recruiting top tier operators to join the franchise system. “The food is second to none, the support is strong, the marketing is excellent, and the opportunities for growth are endless,” Smirl said.

Known for its hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, salads, soup, waffle shakes, loaded fries, and signature sauces from “No Spice” to “Houston, We Have a Problem!”, the brand aims to channel its fan base into an equally fired up franchise community.
