Planet Fitness, Inc. announced the appointment of Sarah Powell as General Counsel, effective November 17th, 2025. In her new role, Powell will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Colleen Keating and join the company’s executive leadership team.
Powell brings more than 25 years of experience as a legal and strategic business advisor. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at GoTo Foods (formerly Focus Brands), a global franchisor of restaurant concepts including Cinnabon, Auntie Anne’s, McAlister’s Deli, and Jamba. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Advance Auto Parts and earlier positions with Delhaize America, where she led governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management initiatives.
