In the wake of devastating floods sweeping across Texas, Pet Supplies Plus has teamed up with Best Friends Animal Society to deliver urgent aid to affected pets and local shelters. Their latest partnership effort is focused on the Hill Country Humane Society, a no-kill shelter currently caring for animals displaced by the recent storms.

Pet Supplies Plus has generously donated approximately $5,000 worth of essential pet care items, including crates, leashes, harnesses, collars, cat litter, and flea and tick prevention supplies. The distribution effort is being facilitated by Best Friends Animal Society, a prominent national animal welfare organization and longtime partner of Pet Supplies Plus.

Chris Rowland, CEO of Pet Supplies Plus, highlighted the mission behind this effort, saying, “At Pet Supplies Plus, supporting both our two and four-legged neighbors has always been at the heart of what we do. We’re proud to stand alongside Best Friends Animal Society to provide relief to local shelters like Hill Country Humane Society. Our goal is to ensure these pets receive the care, comfort, and stability they deserve during such a challenging time.”

    Community Impact Through Collaboration

Best Friends Animal Society, recognized nationwide for its lifesaving programs and commitment to animal welfare, has been actively responding to the crisis in Texas. The organization is aiding impacted communities by providing emergency resources and facilitating the transport of pets already in local shelters to other regions. This critical support creates space for pets displaced by flooding, ensuring no animal is left without shelter or care.

Julie Castle, CEO of Best Friends Animal Society, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Pet Supplies Plus: “Severe weather emergencies like the recent devastating floods in Texas impact entire communities, including the pets who depend on their people for safety and care. We are so grateful to Pet Supplies Plus for their ongoing support in both good times and in challenging times. These supplies will provide much-needed relief to Hill Country Humane Society and the community as they navigate the coming weeks and months.”

For those interested in learning more about local relief efforts or seeking to lend their support, the Pet Supplies Plus website offers resources to find your nearest store and participate in community-driven initiatives.

    Brand Backgrounds

Pet Supplies Plus remains committed to providing quality products and personalized service, establishing itself as a trusted neighbor in communities nationwide. With more than 725 locations across the country, the franchise continues to champion initiatives that prioritize pet welfare, health, happiness and franchise heart.

Best Friends Animal Society’s nationwide partnerships with over 5,000 shelters and rescue organizations further strengthen this collaborative effort, emphasizing their ongoing mission to achieve a no-kill country and ensure every pet finds a loving home.

Together, these organizations exemplify the power of collaboration and compassion, proving that even amid adversity, franchise businesses can lead with heart and make a tangible impact in their communities.
