Krystal is leaning all the way into Fourth of July nostalgia this year with a giveaway that feels tailor-made for fireworks, road trips, and sticky fingers. On July 4th, guests can receive a free Bomb Pop ice pop with any in-store purchase, while supplies last.

The giveaway arrives as Krystal celebrates summer with its Bomb Pop ICEE, a frozen drink inspired by the original red, white and blue treat. The timing fits the holiday mood, especially as America marks its 250th anniversary on July 4th, 2026, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

A Red, White and Blue Treat Built for Summer

The Original Bomb Pop has long carried a visual shorthand for American summer. Its stacked red, white, and blue look, pointed shape, and familiar flavors make it a natural fit for Independence Day menus, poolside afternoons, and post-fireworks treats.

Bomb Pop describes the Original as featuring cherry, lime and blue raspberry flavors in its “iconic Bomb Pop® shape.” The brand lists the treat in multiple sizes, including individual pops and multipack boxes, keeping the freezer-aisle favorite close to the celebrations that made it recognizable across generations.

That iconic status has a history behind it. KCUR recently traced the Bomb Pop’s roots to Kansas City, reporting that the frozen treat came to market in July 1955 and grew into a symbol closely associated with ice cream trucks, public pools, July 4th fireworks, and humid summer nights.

Krystal Turns Nostalgia Into a Holiday Giveaway

For Krystal, the free Bomb Pop giveaway gives guests a simple reason to stop in on Independence Day and say yes to a little Americana. Guests who make any in-store purchase on July 4th can receive the original treat that inspired Krystal’s new Bomb Pop ICEE, while supplies last.

The Bomb Pop ICEE brings the same red, white, and blue spirit into Krystal’s summer drink lineup. It joins the brand’s seasonal sips as a limited-time frozen option built around the kind of familiar flavor cue that instantly connects with warm weather and holiday memories.

“Summer is all about being carefree and making memories, from road trips and ballgames to family adventures and late-night treats,” said Kaitlin Kees, Senior Director of Marketing at Krystal. “With Krystalpalooza, we’re giving guests a reason to make Krystal part of every one of those moments. There’s a deal every day of the week, a chance to win a vacation and a frozen treat that was made for summer. We want guests walking away with a taste of summer every single visit.”

A Small Treat With Big Fourth of July Energy

The appeal of the Bomb Pop has always been straightforward. It looks like a celebration before the wrapper even comes off. The red, white, and blue colors match the holiday, the frozen format fits the season, and the layered flavors give guests a little built-in summer ritual from first bite to last.

Krystal’s Fourth of July offer keeps that tradition simple. Buy something in store, get a free Bomb Pop while supplies last and add one more classic frozen treat to the holiday weekend.

For guests already planning a Krystal stop, the giveaway brings an extra pop of nostalgia to the day. For everyone else, it offers a sweet reason to turn a quick in-store visit into a summer memory.
