Tim Hortons is ushering in the holiday season with the debut of its Holiday Smile Cookie campaign, running from Nov. 18th to Nov. 24th across U.S. locations. A delightful twist on the beloved Smile Cookie, these festive treats not only spread holiday cheer but also support a vital cause—proceeds will benefit the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. These camps empower underserved youth through life-changing programs that build social and resilience skills.

The limited-edition Holiday Smile Cookie is a white chocolate chip sugar cookie, infused with red and green sprinkles, and topped with a hand-decorated smile. Available for just $1.50, these cookies are a perfect way to share the joy of the season while making a meaningful difference.

Katerina Glyptis, President of Tim Hortons U.S. and a Foundation board member, emphasized the importance of this initiative:

“I’m very proud of all the impact our Foundation has made over the last 50 years. As a Board Member of the Foundation, I’ve been able to see first-hand the impact that Tim Hortons Foundation Camp experiences have on kids — seeing them grow in confidence, self-value, and interpersonal connections reminds me of what matters most.”

The Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, established in 1974, have supported over 325,000 youth across North America. They do this through multi-year programs that foster growth, resilience, and a brighter future. The Holiday Smile Cookie campaign builds on this success of the annual Smile Cookie initiative. This initiative raised nearly $350,000 in the U.S. this past spring. That kind of impact not only raises a smile; it lifts hearts and creates change : )

    Making Magic for Underserved Youth

Rodrigo Patterson, a former camper, shared a heartfelt reflection on his experience with the Foundation:

“To Tims restaurant owners and Tims guests — y’all are magic makers. You may not even know how impactful this is. You are lifesavers. You are letting people dream. You are letting people learn that it’s okay to be themselves. You are showing them that life is okay, that it’ll get better.”

In addition to the Holiday Smile Cookies, guests can further contribute to the cause by purchasing $1 “snowflakes” in-restaurant, which will be displayed with the donor’s name, creating a visual tapestry of generosity and community spirit.

With a legacy spanning six decades, Tim Hortons has grown into one of North America’s leading quick-service restaurant chains. They offer a menu beloved for its premium coffee, signature baked goods, and innovative beverages. The Holiday Smile Cookie campaign is yet another testament to the brand’s commitment to giving back and fostering a sense of connection within its communities.

A Sweet Treat That Changes Lives

Whether you’re indulging in a Holiday Smile Cookie or purchasing a snowflake, your contribution is part of a larger movement to empower underserved youth and spread joy during this festive season.
