Carvel Ice Cream Cakes is serving up a fresh look in grocery stores nationwide. The beloved dessert brand has unveiled updated packaging, a redesigned logo and a renewed tagline that celebrate its nearly 100 years of ice cream cake innovation while appealing to a new generation of shoppers.

The refresh comes from I Love Ice Cream Cakes, the Rich Products division behind Carvel, The Original Ice Cream Cake, along with other freezer aisle favorites. The new packaging pairs Carvel’s signature cherry red and blue frost with bright pops of summery yellow, playful graphics and nostalgic iconography that nod to the brand’s rich history.

A standout update is the modernized Carvel logo, now featuring a “V” shaped like a cone topped with soft serve, honoring founder Tom Carvel’s iconic invention. Grocery packaging also proudly displays the tagline, “The Original Ice Cream Cake,” reinforcing Carvel’s legacy in the dessert category.

Carvel Ice Cream Cakes are available at most major grocery retailers nationwide, with prices starting between $15 and $20. Fan favorites include Family-Sized Ice Cream Cake, Cookie Dough Cake, Double Crunch Ice Cream Cake and seasonal designs like the Gameball, Easter Bunny and Snowman cakes. Shoppers can find them in the bakery freezer case or online through ILoveIceCreamCakes.com.
