Krystal has promoted Amanda Hyde to Chief Operating Officer, elevating a seasoned restaurant leader to oversee systemwide operations for the iconic quick-service brand. Hyde will report to SPB Hospitality Chairman and CEO G.J. Hart as the company continues executing its growth strategy.
Hyde brings more than 20 years of industry experience, with a background in operations, brand leadership, and multi-unit management. Since joining SPB Hospitality, she has played a key role in improving operational performance and supporting Krystal’s turnaround and expansion efforts. Her leadership has helped enhance execution across the system while strengthening collaboration with franchise partners.
“Amanda is a respected operator with deep knowledge of the Krystal business and a strong track record of building high-performing teams,” said Hart.
Hyde previously supported multiple brands within the SPB Hospitality portfolio, including Logan’s Roadhouse, before focusing on Krystal’s revitalization. In her new role, she will lead restaurant operations across the system, working closely with franchisees and internal teams to drive performance and maintain operational excellence.
Founded in 1932, Krystal remains a staple in the Southern quick-service landscape, known for its square sliders and loyal fan base. The brand continues to expand beyond its traditional footprint, with a new location planned for Union, New Jersey.
